Why I want to meet Michael Palin
As one of the other members said, who wouldn’t wish to meet him?
But seriously, like many people, I feel as if I know Michael already, having been many, many times around the world, from pole to pole, around the pacific rim, across the Sahara, up the Himalayas and in Hemmingway’s footsteps with him.
After all, we even know about his bowel movements on that Dhow! :)
Yes, I have all the videos (except the Railway Journey) and can watch them over and over whenever I wish to travel (espcape) somewhere. There is always something new to see or learn, no matter how many times I watch them.
Truly, I owe him a large debt of gratitude for these sanity-preserving trips and I am seriously looking forward to seeing his New Europe.
